A minister in the Modi government had died a few days ago due to Covid, the first minister to lose his life to Covid, despite hospitalization. India’s former president Pranab Mukherjee too died a few days after he was tested postive for Covid, though the death was mainly a consequence of his head injury in a fall in a bathroom. IHN=NN
