NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 8pm on Tuesday, amid hints that the lockdown will continue for more time but more relaxations in regulations are on the way. This was announced by the PMO through a tweet.
The PM had addressed the nation first to announce a Janata Curfew, followed quickly by another address on March 24 when he declared the nation-wide lockdown from midnight the same night, and later announced an extension of the lockdown from April 14 up until May 17 in two phases.
Full economic –agricultural, industrial and service sector –activities will resume in green zones while life will remain crippled mostly in red zones and moderately in orange zones, as per broad hints that came from the PM at his fifth video conference with chief ministers on Monday. Some 230 districts, mostly in the eastern sector are not affected by the Covid pandemic at all. IHN-NN
