PARIS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi told a meeting of resident Indians here on Friday that a new India is in the making, and corrupt elements will not be allowed to thrive anymore. “People gave a resounding mandate to BJP to make a new India,” he said.
“So, in new India, action is being taken against corruption, loot of public money and terrorism,” the Prime Minister told a cheering audience. What had not happened in 70 years is happening in 75 days of the new government,” he said. “We did away with triple talaq. Injustice cannot be allowed on Muslim women and children in new India,” he declared at the event held at the UNESCO headquarters here.
