NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi would become the first Indian Prime Minister to feature on the renowned show ‘Man vs Wild’ – a programme aimed at creating awareness about animal conservation and environmental change. The show is hosted by adventurist Bear Grylls.
The adventure film was shot in Uttarakhand’s picturesque Jim Corbett National Park earlier this year, and the trailer launch coincided with International Tiger Day on Monday. The show can be viewed on August 12.
People across 180 countries will have an opportunity to view the unknown side of PM Modi as he ventures into Indian wilderness. Catch Man Vs Wild with PM Modi @DiscoveryIN on August 12 @ 9 pm. #PMModionDiscovery.”

Modi tweeted: “India- where you find lush green forests, diverse wildlife, beautiful mountains and mighty rivers. Watching this programme will make you want to visit different parts of India and add to discourse of environmental conservation.”
Added the PM: “For years, I have lived among nature, in the mountains and the forests. These years have a lasting impact on my life. So when I was asked about a special programme focusing on life beyond politics and that too in the midst of nature, I was both intrigued and inclined to take part in it.” –IHN=NN
