SUSHMA TO BE AT OIC MEET IN ABU DHABI DESPITE PAK OBJECTIONS

Meanwhile, in another jolt to Pakistan, the UAE hosting an OIC meet in Abu Dhabi this week has rejected Pakistan’s plea to exclude India from the meet. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has been invited by the UAE and OIC as the Guest of Honour at the OIC meet, and Pakistan had taken objection to this. It is clear on Thursday that the UAE and OIC simply ignored the Pakistani call. In response, Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated Thursday that he would boycott the meet. This is fresh instance of Pakistan’s complete isolation from the international community, point out Indian diplomatic sources. –IHN=NN
